'Uptown Local' was recorded by the soul & blues band Shake Your Butt in 1999. The cd was published that same year by the Aarhus based music company InterMusic.
Shake Your Butt is a live recording that will enjoy all blues fans not least because of the unique composition of the band. After six years, the band has been temporarily shelved, so the concert at Det Bruunske Pakhus in Fredericia, Denmark, in 2002 was their last public performance so far.
